Summary

The Restaurant Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including opening and closing the restaurant, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Supervise and train staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff

Ensure that all staff members are properly trained and follow all restaurant policies and procedures

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, including the dining room, kitchen, and restrooms

Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies

Assist with marketing and promotional activities

Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in a restaurant setting, preferably in a management role

Excellent customer service skills

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures

Ability to handle stress and work under pressure
