What this site does not do

Kwick365 sets no cookies of any kind. It runs no analytics — no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel, no heatmap, no session recorder. It carries no advertising and no AdSense. It has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no form to fill in. It does not use local storage, and it does not fingerprint your browser.

There is one script on the page. It does nothing but add hover labels to the charts, it runs entirely in your browser, and it sends nothing anywhere. Every chart is rendered on the server as plain SVG and reads correctly with JavaScript switched off.

The one third party: Google Fonts

Pages on this site load the Newsreader typeface from Google’s font service, at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. That means your browser makes a request to Google when you open a page here, and that request necessarily tells Google your IP address, the page you requested the font for, and your user agent. That is Google’s processing, under Google’s privacy policy, not ours; we receive nothing back from it.

Nothing else on any page comes from anywhere but this site. There are no other embeds, no social widgets, no CDN and no third-party JavaScript. If you block Google Fonts, every page still renders correctly in your system serif.

Server logs

The web server records ordinary access logs: the IP address of the request, the time, the URL, the HTTP status, the referrer and the user agent. They exist to keep the site up and to find abuse, they are not used to profile anybody, they are not shared or sold, and they are rotated and deleted on the server’s normal schedule. Nothing in them is combined with anything else.

The JSON API and the embeddable charts are the same web server and are logged the same way. An embedded chart is an iframe of this site: it sets no cookie and reports nothing back to the page that embeds it.

The restaurant data

The figures on this site are computed from the operational data of restaurants running KwickPOS — order totals, tips, menu prices, store locations. They are aggregated before anything is published: there is no per-restaurant output anywhere on the site, no geography below its store threshold, and no dollar totals, only medians, means, shares and counts. No restaurant, and no guest, is identifiable from anything published here. How that is enforced.

Kwick365 collects nothing from you as a reader. There is nothing to request, correct or delete, because there is nothing about you here.
